The Community Forum for Economic Justice understands that the overall health of individuals and the communities in which they live requires a holistic approach. Social determinants of health, such as economic stability, education, affordable housing, access to healthy food, and community support systems, cannot be separated from one another. We believe adequate and affordable healthcare is a right that belongs to everyone and we support efforts to eradicate health disparities based on race, gender, sexuality, and class.
